Responsibilities of a Host Home Provider

A Host Home Provider offers a safe, supportive, and stable home environment for individuals enrolled in the HCS or TxHmL waiver programs. This model allows individuals to live in a family-style setting while receiving personalized care and support.

Provide a Safe & Stable Home

Create a clean, secure, and welcoming home environment where individuals feel safe, respected, and supported in their daily lives. This includes maintaining a structured routine and ensuring overall health and safety within the home.

Support Daily Living & Independence

Assist individuals with daily activities such as meals, personal care, and community involvement while encouraging independence and skill-building based on their individual needs and service plan.

Partner with the Care Team

Work closely with Noelle Residential Place and the individual’s support team by maintaining communication, following care plans, attending required trainings, and helping ensure quality, person-centered services.

Minimum Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must pass required background checks
Must have a private bedroom available
Must provide a clean, safe, and stable home
Must be willing to complete required training
Must have reliable transportation
Must comply with HCS/TxHmL guidelines
